About Melissa

My work began in my own body long before it became something I offered to others.

For more than two decades, I’ve been on a personal and professional path of healing shaped by lived experience, deep listening, and a gradual return to safety and embodiment.

I’m Melissa Sage, and I offer trauma-informed somatic and energy support with a strong focus on nervous system regulation, fascia-held tension, and embodied presence.

While I hold training across somatic therapy, energy healing, and psychotherapy, what most informs my work is lived experience, including long periods of survival mode, complex family dynamics, single motherhood, identity shifts, hormonal transitions, and spiritual opening.

I understand what it’s like to outgrow old versions of yourself, to step away from relationships or environments that no longer feel safe, and to choose steadiness and self-trust instead.


My approach

My work blends:

• body-based somatic therapy
• nervous system repair & regulation
• intuitive energy healing

Sessions are always:

• trauma-informed and consent-based
• gentle and grounded
• paced slowly to support regulation
• focused on integration rather than intensity

I don’t believe healing comes from pushing the body or reliving experiences.

I believe the body releases when it feels safe enough to do so.

Rather than following rigid protocols, sessions are guided by your body’s signals and your lived experience in the moment. The pace is set by what your nervous system can comfortably hold.


Why I do this work

My own healing unfolded gradually, and sometimes spontaneously, not through force, but through learning how to pause, rest, listen, and trust the intelligence of the soul and body's wisdom.

Through every chapter of my life, one truth remained clear:

When the nervous system softens, clarity, connection, and self-trust naturally return.

OM Sacred was created as a space where people can feel supported to heal, regulate, and reconnect with themselves, without pressure to change, perform, or become someone else.


How I hold space

My work meets you where you are.

People often come to me when they are:

• feeling tired, stressed, or burnt out
• navigating grief, loss, or emotional overwhelm
• moving through hormonal changes (peri-menopause or menopause)
• experiencing persistent physical tension or stress patterns
• wanting to feel more embodied and present in their life

Sessions are collaborative and paced slowly, allowing the nervous system to remain oriented, resourced, and supported throughout the process.

Sessions are available:

• online worldwide
• in person in Thornbury, Melbourne (Australia)

Many people choose online sessions and find them just as effective, as this work does not rely on physical touch. It is guided by awareness, presence, and the nervous system’s response.
